Vicki L Wise-Smith, BS, CSAC, LMHC

In 1983 I graduated from college where I studied substance use and mental health. I knew I wanted to work in this field early on. I moved to Virginia not long after graduating from college and began working with the homeless population, many of whom also suffered from substance use and mental health needs. Over the course of my career, I have worked with many great people, who come from diverse backgrounds. Over the last 15 years, I have been working in medicated assisted treatment (MAT) field. I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing clients over the years, and even today, they continue to inspire me with their stories and achievements. My hope is to continue to help as many people in need as possible as they navigate their recovery. Aside from helping others, I love spending time with my animals. I have a cat named Tristen and a dog named Sadie. I enjoy being outdoors and finding deals at flea markets and thrift stores.
