What to expect when entering treatment

When entering treatment at IMS you can expect quality care from a competent and caring staff to complete your assessments. Once you have scheduled your appointment there are a few things to remember and have ready for your appointment. Any new or transfer patients will need to have the following and be prepared to show:

  • A valid ID
  • Proof of insurance (if you have insurance) this includes your provider cards.
  • Self pay patients will be expected to pay for services at the time of their appointment.
  • Please show up to your appointment 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
  • Please be ready to spend at least 1.5 hours on an assessment and induction appointments.
  • Any patients entering the OBAT program will need to be in withdrawal and no use for at least 12 hours prior to your INDUCTION appointment
  • Please decide on the pharmacy of your choice
  • It is encouraged to complete the Initial Patient Screening Form prior to your appointment
  • A staff member will complete and review all initial paperwork with you
  • All patients are expected to be engaged in treatment this includes: individual therapy, case management services, peer support, and groups-failure to be engaged in treatment services could result in termination from our program
